Our comprehensive international travel insurance cover takes care of you for an extensive range of events and potential situations that can affect your trip. You can choose to take it out as single trip or annual multi-trip insurance.

Cover benefits include:

• Cost of rearranging or cancelling your journey if your travel services provider becomes insolvent
• Overseas hospital, medical, surgical, nursing, ambulance and emergency dental expenses
• Additional accommodation and transportation expenses as a result of events such as sickness, natural disasters, loss of travel documents and strikes
• Cost of rearranging or cancelling your journey because of unforeseen circumstances outside your control such as illness, accidents or extreme weather conditions
• Lost, theft or damage to your luggage and personal items
• Replacement cost of lost or stolen travel documents, passports and credit cards
• The cost of essential emergency purchases overseas if your luggage is delayed by a transport provider
• The excess you are liable to pay as a result of damage to or theft of a rental car
• Additional accommodation expenses if your scheduled transport is delayed over 6 hours
• Cost to return overseas, if you have to return to Australia early because a relative or business partner is ill
• Additional public transport costs to get you to a special event (such as a wedding or pre-paid conference) if you would miss it due to unforeseen circumstances outside your control
• Miscellaneous expenses up to $50 per night if you are hospitalised overseas for at least 48 hours
• Loss of income for up to 6 months if you suffer an injury while travelling and are unable to work on your return to Australia
• Disability and accidental death
• Personal liability if your negligent act or omission during the journey causes bodily injury or damage to property of other persons.
