Once you know what level of car insurance you need, take some time to compare quotes online. Keep the following tips in mind:

• Does this insurer provide all the benefits you need? For example, will you want a hire car so you can keep driving while your car is repaired or replaced? Do you want to protect your No Claims Discount?
• How easy is it to make a claim or get help when you need it?
• Read the Product Disclosure Statement carefully to check you understand all the details.
