To apply online to redirect or hold your mail, you'll need an Australia Post ID. If you don't already have one, you can create one now.


Once you have your Australia Post ID, you can login to redirect or hold your mail, or extend existing services.

We'll check your ID online using our secure verification service, to help ensure your mail is safeguarded.

You can pay online securely using Visa and MasterCard.

Please note that if you want to redirect or hold business mail, use your concession card, or redirect or hold mail on behalf of a deceased estate, you will need to apply in person at any Australia Post retail outlet.

You can download forms here for both personal and business mail holding and redirection. Please complete 2 copies of the form and lodge them in person at any Australia Post retail outlet. You can also pick these forms up at any Australia Post retail outlet. You will need to bring along payment and proof of identity.

Please note some mail cannot be redirected overseas, including Registered Post, Cash on Delivery, Parcel Post and Express Post items, and items which require customs documentation. These articles may be deemed undeliverable and returned to sender.
