We strive to personally deliver your items and obtain a signature if required. When no one is home to accept your parcel, we'll leave a card to let you know where you can collect it.
If a signature is needed, we'll leave a card with the location of the nearby Australia Post retail outlet we've sent your parcel to.
To collect your parcel, simply take your card, proof of identity (with your signature), and proof of address to the Australia Post retail outlet.
If you're planning to send someone else to collect the item on your behalf, remember to fill out the agent authorisation on the card.
If a signature isn't needed, the delivery driver will look for a safe spot to leave your parcel. We'll leave a card in your letter box to let you know where you can find your parcel.
Transferring your carded parcel
For convenience, you can ask for your parcel to be transferred to another Australia Post retail outlet. You'll need to pay the $5.70 transfer fee when you pick up the parcel.
