The cost of sending items via Airmail depends on your item, its weight and where it's going. Use our online postage calculator to work out how much it'll cost to send.

We also offer a range of prepaid products (see below) that you can buy online or at any Australia Post retail outlet.

Posting your item

Packing your item

You can use one of our prepaid items or your own packaging. Prepaid envelopes and packages are available at participating Australia Post retail outlets

Items that won't withstand the climate extremes of international delivery may be refused.

View our packaging guidelines to ensure your article is accepted and will travel safely.

Documentation

You'll need to complete a customs form (available from retail outlets) if your parcel:

  • contains anything other than written correspondence
  • contains items valued over $500
  • weighs more than 500g
