An easy, convenient and secure way to pay anytime and anywhere Visa is accepted*.

Note: This card is only available to individuals who registered for the card and satisfied the eligibility criteria of the Australia Post service performance reward offer.

How to get started

  1. Activate your card and retrieve your PIN.
  2. Register your card so you can lodge transaction disputes, get a replacement card (if yours is lost or stolen) and more.

Using your card

In-store

Just swipe, select 'credit' and enter your PIN.

Online and over the phone

Use your card number and expiry date (on the front of your card) and CVV (3 digits on the signature panel). If you're asked for a name, just use "Valued Employee".

Note: You can't use your card to make withdrawals at an ATM.

Hang onto your card until expiry

We may load future service performance payments onto this card. To be eligible for these payments to your card, your Digital Mailbox must stay open and active.

* Excludes use over the counter at financial institutions and merchants who elect not to accept Visa Prepaid Cards. Merchants or other providers may impose limits on use of the Card.

Transaction fee for purchases $0.09 per purchase transaction (9 cents), capped at $0.99 per month (30 days starting from the date of the first transaction).
Foreign currency conversion fee

3% of the Australian Dollar amount of the transaction.

This applies when the card is used for purchase transactions in a currency other than Australian dollars.

Card replacement fee

$15

This applies when a replacement card is issued to you in response to your request (when a card is lost, stolen or damaged).

Unauthorised transaction enquiry fee

$20

Payable only for a request to investigate an unauthorised transaction where the transaction is subsequently found to have been authorised.

SMS notification fee

$0.25

Applies each time an SMS notification is sent (where you select an optional SMS notification, or where you request a balance enquiry or transaction history via SMS).

Phone servicing fee (online is free)

Automated voice service $0.50.

Call centre operator may incur a $4 fee.

Calls regarding lost or stolen cards, fraud concerns or complaints will not incur a fee.

Expiry management fee

$1

Per month. Applied to the card's available balance on the first business day of the calendar month after the card expires, is cancelled or revoked and every month thereafter.

You can find activation instructions in the letter that you received along with your card.

Register your card

When you register your card, you can lodge transaction disputes, get a replacement card (if yours is lost or stolen) and more.

When registering your Load&Go Employee Reloadable Prepaid Visa Card, you will be asked to enter the following information:

  • Card number: 16 digit number on the front of the card
  • Security code (CVV): 3 digit number on the back of the card printed on the signature panel
  • Access Code: 6 digit number. You can learn more about your Access Code in the letter you received along with your card
  • Memorable Word: You can find your Memorable Word in the letter you received along with your card

Note: Both your Access Code and Memorable Word can be changed after initial login via the Load&Go portal.

You can use your Load&Go card for online and in-store purchases (wherever Visa is accepted) before registering your card. But we recommend you register your details online as soon as possible to ensure you have access to the following benefits:

  • access to lost/stolen card reporting
  • check your card balance and view transaction history at no charge
  • view and manage your personal details
  • manage SMS servicing options

Note: If your Load&Go card is lost or stolen and it's not registered, you won't be able to retrieve the remaining funds on your card.

When making purchases

If you are unable to complete purchases with your Australia Post Load&Go Employee Reloadable Visa Prepaid Card, this may be due to:

  • insufficient funds in your card balance
  • incorrect card usage

For your protection, cards may also be blocked if we have identified any unusual activity against your card.

Loads via internet banking

Loads via internet banking generally become available for use within 2 business days and are dependent on your bank's processing times. If funds have not been received within your bank's nominated processing times, please refer to your bank or financial institution for assistance.

For your Australia Post Load&Go Employee Reloadable Visa Prepaid Card:

  • Your 6 digit Access Code is used for accessing a range of services including retrieving your PIN
  • Your PIN is a 4 digit security code you use for authorising payments. You can retrieve your PIN via SMS or by phoning (+61) 1300 665 054 and listening to the prompts.

Your card number is the 16 digit number on the front of your card. You should keep this number secure at all times.

Use this number:

  • to register your card online
  • to check forgotten details such as user name or retrieve your PIN
  • to purchase anything online or over the phone

Your Card ID is the 16 digit number on the back of your card

To check balance or transaction history:

  • log in to the Load&Go portal (if you have registered your card), or
  • visit managing your funds for details on accessing this information via SMS or phone (fees apply)

Please note: Any transaction cannot exceed the available balance on your Load&Go Employee Reloadable Visa Prepaid Card. You can only spend the funds you load onto it.

Why do I select 'credit' when using my Australia Post Load&Go Employee Reloadable Visa Prepaid Card? Click to expand Click to collapse

Although the Load&Go Australia Post Employee Reloadable Visa card is a prepaid card, you need to select 'credit' when using it so that your transactions are processed through the Visa network.

By selecting 'credit', you can use your card almost anywhere Visa is accepted electronically, including overseas.

While you can use the card almost anywhere, some transactions are not allowed:.

  • When buying petrol, you must pay for the petrol purchase at the petrol station counter and not at any automated fuel dispensers (that is, not at the pump)
  • The card may not be used for any illegal transactions. Authorisation may be declined for these transactions
  • The card may not be used for transactions relating to any form of gambling or gambling services, the purchase of money orders, transactions with financial institutions and transactions at pawn shops. Authorisation will be declined for these transactions

Call Load&Go Customer Support on (+61) 1 300 665 054 if you need help with your card, including:

  • disputing a transaction (you will also be required to download, print and fax a completed Disputed Transaction Form (248kb) to (+61) 1300 306 865
  • making a complaint
  • blocking your card
  • lost or stolen cards (you may be liable for unauthorised transactions made up until the time you notify Load&Go)

Yes. You can find the expiry date printed on the front of the card. Please note that your card will not be renewed upon expiry.
