Pack and Track International

Sending a parcel to the UK, USA or New Zealand? Pack and Track International is a low-cost delivery service that offers you:

  • a unique tracking code to track your parcel to its final destination*
  • reliable delivery within 3-10 business days^
    (for urgent deliveries, please see our Express Courier International service)
  • free Air Mail return for undelivered items
  • proof of posting (important if you are a seller using the PayPal online payment gateway to ensure that you qualify for PayPal seller protection).

Please note: This service can only be used for items that weigh up to 2kg and are valued up to $A500.

All items must be lodged over the counter and cannot be posted in a street posting box.

Packaging

You can post a parcel through Pack and Track using a prepaid 1kg satchel or your own form of packaging. Prepaid Pack and Track 1kg satchels are available at participating Australia Post retail outlets.


How to send your item

  1. Check your item does not exceed 2kg (or 1kg if you are using the prepaid satchel).
  2. Obtain a "Pack and Track International consignment note" from an Australia Post retail outlet and attach this to your parcel.
    Note: If you are using a Pack and Track prepaid satchel, you don't need to obtain this note as it is already attached to the satchel.
  3. Fill in all fields of the consignment note, including the Customs declaration.
  4. Take your parcel to an Australia Post retail outlet that offers the Bank@Post service and lodge your item over the counter.*
  5. Retain your receipt for tracking number reference and proof of purchase.


How to track your item

To track your item through its journey, go to our online tracking tool and enter the tracking number provided on your receipt. Your tracking code will be in a similar format to: "LK970012566AU".

As part of the tracking feature, you will see when your parcel has been:

  1. first received and accepted by an Australia Post retail outlet
  2. processed for international delivery
  3. received by the overseas postal organisation (in the US, UK or NZ)
  4. delivered to its final destination.

* All Pack and Track International items must be lodged over the counter at an Australia Post retail outlet that offers the Bank@Post service. Look for the Bank@Post sign, ask at your outlet or use the Post Office Locator.
