Make an insurance claim

Customers who receive insured items with missing or damaged contents should inform Australia Post immediately, and present the article, including all wrapping and packaging, for inspection. This will apply even if you are not the claimant for the insurance.

Senders of items which are insured should inform the addressees that Australia Post can only pay insurance for missing or damaged contents if the overseas postal administration can confirm the loss or damage by inspection.
