Teachers: Curriculum support

Welcome to Letter Link: AFL.

As part of the Australia Post Community Inclusion Partnership, this program aims to develop the literacy skills of all your students through letter writing.

This program is for all students. It does not matter if they have been supporting Australian Football all their lives, have never even heard of the game, or are new to this country – this program will engage them in meaningful literacy activities.

Australia Post and the Australian Football League (AFL) have teamed up and selected several AFL players from diverse cultural backgrounds as Multicultural Ambassadors. It is the job of these ambassadors to promote social inclusion in their communities. Letter Link: AFL provides your students with the opportunity to write to these ambassadors (or to any other AFL player or club) and to explore the diverse and inclusive nature of Australian Football.
