Unaddressed Mail

Unaddressed Mail is Australia Post's lowest cost delivery service. It's a great way to reach consumers and businesses at street and/or post office box addresses across the country or in just a few carefully selected areas when you don't have their names.

Unaddressed Mail articles do not contain a specific name or address for delivery, but may feature a title such as "To the householder".

You can send a wide range of promotional material this way including envelopes, postcards, catalogues, flyers, brochures, samples, magazines, cards and coupons.

There are two types of services available with Unaddressed Mail:

  • Regular service - applies when you decide to target all private and/or all business delivery points in the chosen postcode, suburb or locality*.
  • Select service - applies when you decide to target less than all private and/or business delivery points in the chosen postcode, suburb or locality. The select service has a higher price per item which reflects the higher administrative and delivery costs incurred by Australia Post.

Benefits of using Unaddressed Mail

  • Save money - access to low postage costs makes Unaddressed Mail a highly cost-effective means of communicating with current and prospective customers.
  • Professional and efficient delivery - Unaddressed Mail is delivered with regular addressed mail by Australia Post's professional delivery network.
  • Extensive reach - Australia Post's extensive delivery network has access to more than one million post office boxes (businesses and private) as well as all households and business delivery points.
