Business banking for Suncorp Bank customers
If you have a business banking account with a Business Visa Debit Card at Suncorp Bank, you can use participating Australia Post retail outlets to:
- deposit cheques of any amount
- deposit cash of up to $3,000 a day (selected retail outlets only*)
- withdraw up to $1000 in cash a day.
How to use Bank@Post to do your business banking
To undertake banking transactions at Australia Post you'll need your Suncorp Bank Business Visa Debit Card and PIN.
After each business transaction we'll provide you with a receipt for your records.
Depositing cheques
To deposit a cheque, simply complete a Bank@Post deposit slip and swipe your Visa Debit card linked to your business account and enter your PIN to begin your transactions.
There is no limit on the number of cheques you can deposit with us in any one transaction. You'll just need to list the specific details for each cheque on the back of your deposit slip. If there's not enough space to record all your cheques, please attach a separate cheque listing to your deposit slip.
All cheques must be made payable to either:
- the name shown on your Business Visa Debit card or
- cash.
We're unable to cash cheques or deposit third party cheques into your account.
Please note that Suncorp Bank may take up to 5 business days to clear cheques banked at Australia Post. If you'd like more information on clearance times, please contact Suncorp Bank.
Depositing cash
You can deposit up to $3,000 in cash per day at selected Australia Post retail outlets* using your Suncorp Bank Business Visa Debit Card and PIN.
Notes should be bundled in lots of 10 or 100. Coins should be bagged with only one type of coin per bag.
Withdrawing cash
To withdraw funds from your business banking account, simply swipe your Suncorp Bank Business Visa Debit Card at the counter, select your account type and enter your PIN to begin. You can withdraw up to $1,000 in cash a day from your nominated Suncorp Bank business account. You'll also need to take Suncorp Bank's maximum daily limit into consideration.
