Full Rate Mail

When you want to send less than 300 articles that have not been machine addressed, barcoded or sorted, then the standard Full Rate service applies - no bulk discounts apply to this service.

Full Rate Mail is available in the following letter size categories:

Maximum thickness	5mm	20mm

Benefits of Full Rate Mail

• Easy to use - you simply prepare your mail and lodge it either in a street posting box or over the counter at any Australia Post retail outlet. There are no minimum volume requirements, barcoding, sorting or lodgement documents required.
• Access to discounts using postage meters or postage paid imprint - by using a postage meter to pay for your articles or printing the postage paid imprint and paying by Australia Post business credit account you can access the metered/imprint rate of $0.58 for small letters and from $1.16 for large letters. You'll also receive a 2.5% rebate each time your postage meter is reset (when you pay for more postage credit).

Postage rates for Full Rate Mail include GST and are as follows:

Paying for Full Rate Mail

Payment can be made either by using your Australia Post Business credit account, a postage meter, cash, debit card or credit card.

Getting started

Using Full Rate Mail is simple. Just add postage stamps or a postage meter imprint to the postage value applicable on your articles and either lodge them in a street posting box or over the counter at any Australia Post retail outlet.

Alternatively, use a Postage Paid imprint on your articles to the required postage value and lodge them over the counter at any Australia Post retail outlet.
