Express Post products are designed to meet your business requirements; from envelopes to parcel labels you can choose from a range of affordable and customisable products.
Envelopes
Express Post is the only carrier to offer a range of different size prepaid envelopes for the delivery of documents, CDs and DVDs. Offering you nationwide flat rates, savings of up to 10% are available when you buy your envelopes in bulk.
You can send items up to 500g in weight and 20mm in thickness in each envelope. Envelopes come in the following sizes:

Satchels
Express Post offers prepaid satchels in 5 different sizes, including the unique 500g satchel for small, lightweight goods as well as the oversize 3kg and 5kg large satchels available under contract conditions to Australia Post business customers only. With this range you'll only pay for what you need.

Buying prepaid Express Post envelopes and satchels
You can buy prepaid Express Post envelopes and satchels at any Australia Post retail outlet. All prices are inclusive of GST and you can save up to 10% when buying in bulk.
If you don't have time to make it into one of our retail outlets but are running low on Express Post, please call us on 13 11 18 to place an order and have it delivered direct to your business premises (where the service is available).
Posting Express Post envelopes and satchels
Once correctly addressed, simply drop your Express Post envelope or satchel into any one of the gold Express Post boxes by 6pm or hand it in at your nearest post office to guarantee next day delivery. Lodgement times are earlier in Perth and some regional centres, so check times on street posting boxes.
When posting Express Post satchels, you will also need to sign the Aviation Security and Dangerous Goods declaration which appears on the front of the satchel.
Please be aware that posting your Express Post item in a red street box will delay your delivery.
Parcels
If your contents exceed the size and weight limit of our envelopes and satchels, you can use our Express Post parcel service where you can send parcels up to 20kg.
Whether you lodge your parcel at an Australia Post retail outlet or have a pick-up from your business premises - we guarantee your goods being sent within the Express Post network will arrive at their destination the very next business day.
Express Post parcel pricing and sizes
Any parcel you would normally send with Australia Post can be sent via Express Post service. You can use Express Post parcels for the delivery of items up to 20kg (22kg if you are an Australia Post contract customer). Express Post parcel labels are available from our retail outlets and can be ordered in bulk.
For volume users, we offer special parcel rates and pick-up from your premises, please call your account manager to find out more information.
Starting prices:
- Parcels up to 500g - $8.40
- Parcels over 500g - cost varies depending on the weight of your item. Use our postage calculator to work out the cost of your parcel.
Size:
- Your parcel should not exceed 105cm in length and 140cm in girth.

Lodging Express Post parcels
Bring your parcel to your nearest Australia Post retail outlet within the Express Post network by 5pm or by its Express Post service closing time, whichever is earlier. To help you pack items securely, you can also buy a wide range of packaging products and accessories, including bubble wrap and tape, at your Australia Post retail outlet.
When lodging your parcels, you will need to use an Express Post Platinum parcel address label and sign an Aviation Security and Dangerous Goods declaration.
