eParcel Returns
The eParcel Returns service can be accessed by any customer with an eParcel account, with the service enabled in their eParcel agreement. Simply key your return request into our eParcel online freight management system.
Benefits of using eParcel Returns
- You can authorise your customers to return specific parcels to you.
- You can access proof of lodgement and delivery.
- You can track your returns by entering your unique barcode number into our online tracking system.
eParcel Call for Returns
A pick up service for eParcel customers. If your parcels are being returned by business customers or are heavy or large (such as wine using our special wine delivery service) you may wish to use eParcel Call for Returns. This provides for an Australia Post driver to pick up the parcels from your customer and is available in all metropolitan areas and most regional centres.
We will generally call the customer in advance to check pick-up arrangements. On pick-up, the driver will bring the eParcel barcoded labels to attach to the parcels.
You pay a flat rate for the pick up and an additional charge for each parcel returned.
Pick ups are generally collected within 3 days of request and if your customer is not home, we can pick up from a safe place requested by you.
eParcel Post Returns
A convenient and cost effective service for your customers who prefer to lodge their eParcel Return at an Australia Post retail outlet.
eParcel Online enables you to print a despatch label which you can then post to your customer, enclose in the outward parcel or automatically email your customers with the label as a PDF attachment.
They then attach the despatch label to their parcel and take it to any Australia Post retail outlet. Your customer will receive a Proof of Posting receipt bearing a unique barcode number which they can use to track the parcel.
Express eParcel Post Returns
Sending returns using Express eParcel Post Returns enables your customers to send back faulty, damaged or unsuitable parcels quickly and simply with guaranteed next business day delivery within the Express Post network.
Secure packing
As an optional extra you can ask us to supply one or more POSTpak packaging items to your customer at the post office to enable them to package the return. This convenient full-service solution ensures the return items come back to you well packaged and in good condition. Several leading suppliers of consumer electronics use this service for the return of warranty items for repair.
Transit cover
For additional peace of mind you can also take out Transit Cover for eParcel Returns parcels. Transit cover ensures the return parcel is covered for loss or damage (up to $5000 per parcel if requested) while it is being returned to you. Terms and conditions of this additional service will be specified on entering into a contract with Australia Post.
