Capture of photos and signatures

As part of our identity service solutions we provide a comprehensive range of print-based and digital photo and signature capture services.

Photo services

  • Instant photo capture - if your organisation issues photo ID cards, licences or requires a photo with an application, we can provide photos that meet internationally recognised standards. Your customers can visit more than 1,300 Australia Post retail outlets to access high-quality instant photographs. These low-cost photos are compliant with requirements for passports, visas and are suitable for use for a range of identity-related purposes such as ID cards.
  • Photo acceptance - we can also accept photos in association with application forms for any photo ID cards you need to issue. Our staff are trained to ensure that any photos accepted from your customers meet International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) standards, which is the common standard used for all identity photos. This ensures that the photo can be electronically imaged for your ID card production purposes.

Signature capture

We are able to capture electronic signatures at selected Australia Post retail outlets. These electronic signatures can be used for ID cards and can also be used as evidence of your customers' consent to process their personal information.
