Article layout approval

If you would like confirmation that your mail piece meets your preferred delivery requirements, simply send us a copy and we will assess it for you.

We will assess the:

  • design of your envelope, card or flysheet design - we will look at the position of any design elements and addressing to ensure compliance with your chosen service delivery.
  • physical attributes of your mail piece - our assessment can include checking your piece's flexibility, envelope colour patterns or paper quality, shape, window panel quality/enclosure colours or patterns, plastic wrapping, barcode readability.

Please note: While a pdf can help us assess the creative design and barcoding, the physical attributes of the piece may need to be put through our mail processing machinery. We will advise you where a physical copy for additional testing is required.

How long is the checking process?

Our checking process usually takes up to 2 working days on receipt of your mail piece. Articles that need to be tested through our mail processing machinery may take up to 10 days from receipt.
