Alterations or cancellations
If you wish to alter or cancel your existing Mail Redirection or Mail Holding service, you will need to complete an Alter or Cancel form (pdf 133kb). This form can be used to:

- add or remove names from the service, or
- cancel your service.
Changing your redirection to a different address
If you wish to change your Mail Redirection service to a different address, you must cancel your existing service and lodge a new application. Cancellation fees apply. Please refer to the refunds table.

Altering or cancelling your Mail Redirection or Mail Holding service can only be done in person at an Australia Post retail outlet.
Alterations or cancellations must be made by the person who lodged the original application, or by a person who has the written authority from that person or business/organisation (for instance if you are overseas). Australia Post may ask for written evidence of such authority.
Any person can add or remove their own name and that of a dependent aged under 18 years (if they have the necessary authority).
