20 July 2012

For the second year in a row Australia Post is proud to feature the top five finalists from the Australia Day Council of New South Wales (ADCNSW) AUSSIEVAULT Online Photography Competition in a stamp issue. The Living Australian stamp issue includes five domestic base-rate (60c) stamps and will be available on 24 July 2012.

People from all walks of life were invited to respond to the theme "Make Your Mark Australia" exploring how Australians contribute locally, nationally and globally. Entrants were invited to submit under the categories Local, Global, Lifestyle and Humour, and the photographs submitted by the five finalists are featured on the stamps.

The shortlist was compiled by the ADCNSW and Australia Post, with the final selection chosen by a celebrity panel. The celebrity panel included professional photographer Brendan Read, actress and AUSSIEVAULT spokesperson Kate Ritchie, Australia Day Ambassador and Oz Harvest founder Ronni Kahn and television personality Don Burke. All entries, finalists and winners can be seen on the website:
