New email scam alert

Australia Post is aware that there are currently multiple scam emails circulating and are working to stop them as quickly as possible.

Here are some of the subject lines that are appearing in these scam emails:

  • A courier did not redeem package
  • A mailman have not redeem the parcel to your address thus nobody was at home
  • An agent was unable to deliver the item to your place for the reason: the receiver was absent
  • Delivery Exception Address Update Required

If you receive these emails, please:

Please also be aware that Australia Post will never:

  • Send you an email asking you to click on an attachment
  • Email you to reconfirm your address by clicking a link
  • Send you an email asking for your password, credit card details or account information
  • Call or email you out of the blue to request payment
