Recycling phones to help prevent cyber bullying
Monday, 28 March 2011

You can help protect kids from cyber bullying by recycling your old mobile phones.
For every 2kg of mobile phones and accessories received between 1 February and 31 May 2011, MobileMuster will donate $1 to help implement the eSmart system in schools across Australia.
What is eSmart?
eSmart is an initiative of the Alannah and Madeline Foundation. The system helps schools develop the policies, practices and procedures to promote smart, safe and responsible use of communication technologies as an everyday part of school life.
Recycle now - it's easy
To recycle your old mobile phones, batteries and accessories, simply:
- collect a free MobileMuster Reply Paid satchel from your local Australia Post retail outlet, or
- download a Reply Paid label from the MobileMuster website
- then post your phone in any red Australia Post street posting box.
You can find your nearest Australia Post retail outlet using our online Post Office Locator tool.
Together with MobileMuster, Australia Post has helped to recycle more than 124,000 mobile phones since 2008.
