International mail delays - update - 23-04-2010

Mail posted in Australia late last week addressed to destinations in the UK and Europe has now been cleared, after being held in Bangkok, Hong Kong and Singapore for several days waiting for flights to resume.

More than 16 tonnes of mail was flown out of Australia on Thursday evening.

Articles for European destinations posted on Wednesday and Thursday of this week will be cleared over the weekend and no further delays should be experienced.

Mail from the affected countries has also started arriving with more expected over the weekend.
