Ahmed Fahour

Managing Director & Group CEO

Ahmed Fahour is Managing Director and Group CEO of Australia Post. He has extensive experience as a successful leader and dynamic reformer at corporations in Australia and overseas.

Ahmed commenced his professional career at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in 1987, where he consulted on a range of major commercial projects including mergers, acquisitions, corporate vision and strategy. He became a director of BCG in 1997.

In 2000, Ahmed was recruited by Citigroup and moved to New York, where he worked as Head of Corporate Development and, later, as CEO of Citigroup Alternative Investments - as well as serving on the company's Global Management Committee. He was subsequently appointed as Citigroup's CEO for Australia and New Zealand.

In 2004, he joined the National Australia Bank (NAB) as an Executive Director and Australian CEO. Under his leadership, there was a major turnaround in the bank's performance and its wealth management subsidiary (MLC).

He was appointed Managing Director and CEO of Australia Post in early 2010. Ahmed has been implementing a more customer-focused business model at Australia Post designed to capture the corporation's major growth opportunities in ecommerce, logistics and as a provider of trusted digital services.

Ahmed is currently Chairman of Pro-Pac Packaging Ltd and a Director of the Carlton Football Club. He is also an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law at La Trobe University.

Christine Corbett

Executive General Manager, Postal & eCommerce Services

Christine Corbett is the Executive General Manager for Postal & eCommerce Services at Australia Post.

In this role Christine is responsible for Australia Post's extensive network of over 4,400 post offices and more than 400 mail delivery and processing facilities around the country.

With customers' needs continuing to change, Christine is focused on building and extending the range of trusted services that Australia Post provides on behalf of over 750 businesses and government bodies across bill payment, banking, money transfer, travel and identity services, both in-person and online.

Christine is tasked with modernising the letters business to meet the contemporary needs of all Australians and providing multi-channel solutions so that customers can transact with Australia Post via the channel that is most convenient for them.

She is the driving force behind new post office formats to provide customers with greater self service and 24/7 access to critical services, along with the MyPost Digital Mailbox to help Australians manage their daily lives.

With more than 2,500 post offices and over 200 mail facilities in rural and remote areas, a key priority for Christine is to support the evolving needs of these communities and ensure the overall sustainability of our network and operations.

Since joining Australia Post in 1990, Christine has held a number of key leadership roles across Retail, Strategy, Major Change, Marketing and Communications.

Her successful background in managing large complex teams and strong business experience in engaging staff to deliver results will support Australia Post to deliver what customers want today and in the future.

Bob Black

Executive General Manager, Parcel & eCommerce Services

Bob Black is the Executive General Manager responsible for the Parcel & eCommerce Services division of the Australia Post Group, which operates under the customer-facing brand, StarTrack.

Bob joined Australia Post in November 2014, from global express delivery company, TNT. With more than 30 years' experience in the Logistics and Distribution industry, Mr Black has a deep knowledge of the local and international transport and logistics sector, and a proven track record in delivering strategic infrastructure projects. Throughout his career, Bob has held positions across all aspects of the International and Domestic businesses including, Operations, Sales, Business Development & Strategy and General Management.

In his role as Executive General Manager, Parcel Services, Bob is responsible for providing a world-class service to our customers with an unrivalled suite of ecommerce-driven logistics, supply chain and parcel delivery solutions for consumers, local and international businesses, and online marketplaces.

Bob's significant international and local supply chain and logistics expertise will help shape the future of this dynamic business, leveraging the significant infrastructure and technology investments the Australia Post Group has made over the past two years.

Chris Blake

Executive General Manager, Corporate Affairs & People

Chris Blake joined Australia Post in July 2010 and is the Executive General Manager, Corporate Affairs & People. He is responsible for leading human resources, strategy, communications, Government relations, International Affairs and community engagement.

Before moving into this role, Chris was the Executive General Manager People and Community at Australia Post.

Prior to joining Australia Post, Chris worked in senior executive roles at the National Australia Bank (NAB) including the Executive General Manager People and Organisational Development and the Executive General Manager, Business Strategy & People for NAB's Global Wholesale Banking Division, where he led the development of a new global business strategy for the wholesale bank following the Global Financial Crisis.

Chris has a wealth of experience in overseeing complex organisation-wide change programs following his work in senior roles in banking and with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was partner for 10 years.

Paul Burke

Corporate Secretary and General Manager Government Affairs

Paul Burke was appointed Corporate Secretary of Australia Post in April 2010. Following that he also took on responsibility for Government and Regulatory Affairs in 2011 and International Affairs in June 2013. Prior to that he spent four years as Manager, Board & Shareholder Liaison, working extensively with the Australia Post Board, Shareholder Departments and Ministerial advisers.

Prior to his involvement at the Corporate Secretary level of Australia Post Paul had a fifteen year career in finance with BHP Billiton and Australia Post spanning both Operational (Mining, Petroleum and Networks) and Group areas (Corporate Accounting / Group Financial Control / Finance Strategy).

Paul has a B Bus (Acc), is a member of the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants, a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a member of the Australia Post Executive Committee, Australia Post Management Committee and is a Director of Australia Post Transaction Services Pty Ltd, SecurePay Pty Ltd and Australia Post Digital MailBox Pty Ltd.

Catherne Walsh

General Manager, Human Resources

Catherine joined Australia Post in 2001 and is the General Manager for HR, Group & Postal Services. In this role, she has end-to-end accountability for executing the people program of work across the Enterprise.

HR comprises of Business Advisory Areas supporting our Business Units and supported by several centres of excellence, including: Safety, Capability & Talent, Workplace Relations & Policy, HR Strategy & Organisational Development, Performance, Recruitment and Remuneration & Benefits.

Catherine is committed to providing a clear and consistent national approach to HR across the Enterprise, which encourages collaboration and information sharing across teams, Business Units and States.

Catherine has also worked as a Senior Workplace Lawyer in the Legal Services Team and as the Manager of Employee Relations, at Australia Post.

Prior to joining Australia Post, Catherine was a Senior Associate in the Employment Law section at Clayton Utz Lawyers Catherine specialises in leadership and strategic management, with a focus on employee and industrial relations, workplace diversity and culture, and workplace regulation and structuring.

Catherine has a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.

Group Chief Financial Officer

Janelle Hopkins has been in the Group Chief Financial Officer role since December 2013 and has accountability for the Finance & Customer Operations function that supports the enterprise. She joined Australia Post in August 2012 as General Manager Finance Planning and Reporting.

Prior to joining Australia Post, Janelle spent over ten years at NAB, where she held various senior finance roles including Financial Controller Australia, Head of Finance Strategy and Transformation, and Head of Management Accounting and Operations. She also worked at Deloitte, initially as an Accountant and ultimately as Client Manager for the Audit Department, focusing on Financial Services, Superannuation and Health Insurance.

Janelle has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and a Masters of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management. She is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a member of the Australia Post Executive Committee and is a Director of a number of subsidiaries.

Laz Cotsios

Group Executive,
Business Services

Laz Cotsios joined Australia Post in October 2015 and is the Group Executive for Business Services.

In this role, Laz leads a broad corporate centre function including risk and assurance, group property, technology, information security, procurement & environment, business optimisation & efficiency, and shared services.

Before joining Australia Post, Laz was Medibank's Chief Customer Officer and Group Executive of the Private Health Insurance division. Prior to working at Medibank, Laz had more than 20 years' experience in financial services companies. This included senior executive roles in well-known international and Australian companies, including UBS Wealth Management Australia and Westpac Banking Corporation.

Laz has extensive experience in driving business strategy and developing new business, as well as in improving operational efficiency and customer-centricity for large organisations.

Laz has a Bachelor of Science, Applied Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Adelaide and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Flinders University. He's also completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School and the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD.

Andrew Walduck

Executive General Manager, Trusted eCommerce Solutions

Andrew Walduck joined Australia Post in January 2012 to help drive the digitisation of Australia Post and build a great customer-centric company.

As Executive General Manager, Trusted eCommerce Solutions, he's responsible for the creation, operation and expansion of Australia Post products and services, trusted by Australians to connect people, businesses and governments to each other and the world.

The Trusted eCommerce Solutions portfolio includes physical and digital identity, payments, financial services and digital communication solutions for consumers, small businesses, large corporations and government agencies.

Prior to his current role, Andrew led Australia Post's Information, Digital and Technology team as Chief Information Officer.

Andrew's career spans more than twenty years in business transformation, technology and marketing. He's had prior roles in global corporations such as IBM and Accenture, where he was a Partner in the Communications and High-tech Practice. Andrew has also worked in marketing leadership roles in small growing businesses.

Andrew's expertise lies in using technology to provoke business change, building valued business relationships, and leading transformational programs to help organisations reinvent business models based on digital products and services. He also has a passion for developing talented teams that deliver great business results.
